Had Babbo's cater an event for about 20 people and everyone kept asking where we got the food...no one was disappointed. They prepared 2 platters of various wraps and a dish of pasta salad... And everyone was coming up for 2nds and 3rds!

Great place! Good food, I've had the cheeseburger hoagie numerous times, it get better each time. We've moved here & this place is quickly becoming our go to. He had picky family members there too & other than the air blowing on them ( on a hot day; they will complain about anything) the experience was awesome! Beer selection is very nice with good prices. Rotating and seasonal available. There wing specials are a good deal! I had the boneless & they were filling. One downfall is they will not split the order for sauces; hence the 4 star instead of 5. I can't wait to go back for the whole wing special.

Every time I go, I enjoy a great meal! The pizza is OK, but I love their Italian meals. Good portion sizes, lots of sides & the prices are reasonable. It's not the Olive Garden, but you shouldn't expect it to be. It's a "step-up" pizza parlor with a bar attached to its side. It's good Italian food without the hype. I love it! Speaking of the bar...it's awesome. Lots of micro brews & bottles. The bar guys are super legit & they have GREAT bar specials. Go to Babbo's!

This place amused me a bit when I walked in. It seems like it's trying to drink champagne out of a beer can. Babbos is attempting to pull off a bistro feel in an old diner layout. It has diner seating, many of the fixtures are very diner, looks like a diner from the outside. That aside, I ordered a peroni and a eggplant parm sub (no cheese). The Peroni was a nice pour and a nice price. The sandwich was good. Not spectacular. I do have to say that the eggplant seemed to be better tasting than most eggplant sandwiches in the area with a nice sweet sauce, but the bread didn't seem homemade - big no no in this area where there are literally 10+ Italian restaurants/pizza shops in a 5 mile radius. I'll come back again and try other things, but I'm in no rush.

This is the second time that they completely messed up an order with no attempt to correct the problem. Ordered a steak, waitress never asked how I wanted it cooked - then brought out the larger streak when I specifically asked for the smaller one. The grilled zucchini was absolutely disgusting. And inedible as it was burnt and cold by the time she finally brought my steak out (about 10 minutes after the rest of the table received their food) the zucchini was cold, steak overdone, and the baked potato was the only thing that wasn't a disappointment. Waitress made no attempt to fix the problem when I pointed it out to her. Furthermore - their service is absolutely atrocious about 70% of the time. Will not be back anytime soon.

My husband and I recently moved to the area, and have passed Babbo's many times. Two weeks ago we stopped in here for dinner. The restaurant gets the diner feel from the outside but inside, the bar area was super nice, and the restaurant side, was warm and inviting. Our waitress was over the top friendly and made recommendations to the menu. Everything from the bread (warm!), the salads (crisp and delicious), to the meal, I had linguine a la bolognese and my husband got the seafood alfredo. We both loved our meals, Im pretty sure the sauce to my meal was homemade. Next time, i plan on trying one of their wines, or mixed drinks (they do have a good list). We were definitely be back again soon, as the food was delicious, prices were good, service was top notch and this will be our go to Italian restaurant in the area.

This place is quickly becoming our go to quick meal fix. We live very close and their food is pretty good. The Stromboli is great and the family really like their pizza This is also my 6 pack store since I can never commit to a case and enjoy trying new craft beers All in all, a solid place for take out and causal family dining

Babbo's is out go to place for Friday night take out. With all of the choices in the Etown/Mount Joy area, we always go here. Chicken cheesesteak boli is the best. Homemade sauce mares you addicted to their pizza. I would highly recommend Babbo's. Create your own take-out six packs of microbrews is an added bonus.

This is pretty much our go-to place to eat. They make excellent subs and paninis and the caprese salad is superb! Also, they have Mad Elf on tap around Christmas. It's never too crowded to get a table, and yet the prices are excellent! The $5 spaghetti pizza is definitely a full meal. They sell mixed six packs from their coolers as well, which is convenient if friends are coming by or if you want to just try a few different things.

How could I not love a location that sells Guinness by the individual bottle (as I sometimes need it for cooking- yeah, right!) Their Italian menu items are superb, especially their stuffed shells and garlic knots.

Had a great meatball parmesan hot sub (hero)! It was the greatest tasting meatball hero I've had in Lancaster County Pennsylvania so far .

This place has pretty good pizza and subs. I have not tried any of their classic Italian dishes, but they look great and I have never heard a complaint about them. . Their beer is by far the cheapest in town, including their to-go bottles. They also have a large variety of micro brews. There is always a seat at the bar and the staff is always friendly.

Had the lobster ravioli...would you believe it is better than Carrabbas? Yes, because Carrabbas lobster ravioli sucks; but what about Devons? Damn right. Devon's $25 ravioli taste like library paste compared to Babbo's $13 plate of deliciousness. It has a great sauce with lots of love from garlic. Good stuff! However. The philly steak pizza taste like regurgitated Steak-ums on a cardboard crust. All the garlic and pepper flakes on the table couldn't save it. This is why I didn't give five stars. Dessert you ask? That's why I didn't give it 3 stars. The tiramisu saved the day. Best damn one in Pennsylvania. I don't understand how they can make such a great ravioli and a tiramisu that the angels would eat but can't make a pizza. I'll go back.

We stopped here late tonight for pizza based on reviews on Google Maps. Was not disappointed!! The food was very, very good. They used quality ingredients and tasted great. We had pizza and a stromboli. Service a tad slow, but would not expect anything else in the middle of farm country. Would recommend to all.

I have dined at Babbo's numerous times and have found all their food to be exceptional. I held a party for 100 people in their meeting room and the proprietors could not be more helpful. The service is great and the food is some of the best in the area (if not the best) Anyone dining here will be very happy with the choice.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
